Perfect Dessert for DATE Night
I have always loved dates! I throw them in protein shakes, salads, or just pack them as a snack on the go. Dates are so versatile they can be used in almost every meal. Keeping this recipe super simple for when you want a treat for date night but without extra sugar (see what I did there).
You’ll need:
Dates (preferably pitted)
Creamy peanut butter
Dark chocolate chips
coconut oil
toppings such as: chia seeds, coconut, salt
Steps
Slice the dates in half, to create a pocket, do not slice the whole way through
Place a dollop of peanut butter in each date. Freeze for about 30 minutes
Prepare the chocolate mix with 1 tbsp of coconut oil and however many chocolate chips you please. Microwave these two until they blend well together.
Take out the frozen PB dates and either drip or drizzle chocolate on top.
Top with your favorite toppings or leave plan and freeze until you are ready to enjoy!
