What Makes You Feel Grounded?

What exactly does it mean to be grounded? If you ask Google, it means being “well balanced and sensible.” Yes, I would agree with Google, but I also think being grounded in your life means so much more.

How about we begin to surround our lives around the term: well balanced. Being a well balanced person can often be difficult to achieve. To be truly well balanced, you need to have your emotions in check and also have awareness about how you feel and how it affects your attitude. A well balanced life means you can recognize your needs for your health, mind, and spirit.

Being grounded allows you to have a close relationship with yourself and appreciate your relationships with others. It is about having respect for yourself as well as others that you pursue relationships with. Practicing a grounding lifestyle allows us to be humble, love more, and connect to ourselves and others in a deeper way. I am working on continuously focusing on a living a grounded lifestyle and hope that through my experiences, I can encourage you to do the same.
